walking with a young woman

When you bring home your child do you really know what heartaches you will be faced with through out their life. Heartaches don't have to be hardships, they can be stepping stones on their way to youth, and at some point adulthood. I found this quote and instantly thought of A.
"Don't laugh at a youth
for her affections;
she is only trying on
one face after another
to find a face of her own.
Logan Pearsall Smith
A has been playing with faces for awhile, not a child anymore, but yet not an adult. This phase of "Young Women" has her in search for a face of her own. I don't recall what my mothers emotions were when I was going through this phase in my life, but I do know how I am feeling and how I tell myself that their would be no test put on me if I wasn't strong enough to get through it. If I stay strong and level headed life will go in the direction that it was meant to take. As for the faces. . .I am sure as much as youth try on faces, we as adults try on faces as we change with our children and with ourselves.
