Birthday

Mmm. . .I LOVE LOBSTER!! Thanks my Zilla ;)

On Friday night Tod brought home Lobster to celebrate my Birthday, which is on Monday. We had a YUMMY meal with the girls. Okaly was gone for the weekend to Calgary for his Hockey Provincials. (they didn't win, but had a great time) We ended up having extra Lobster so we phoned up G Pharis, she was over in a minute. Seafood is her favorite. After we cleaned up supper we went to the post office for our night job, and of course we had the girls so it was off to E & E for a treat after!

Saturday came way to early for a day with no hockey or dance competitions. Instead we were having babies. . .not me the cat. Fluffy decided to wake Avery up just before 7am to let her know that it was time to go get mom and the blankets for her to lay on. This is her 5th batch and she is such a good momma that she knows the routine and likes to have a lot of attention, and encouragement. By 11:30am we had 4 babies, 2 striped, 1 black and 1 orange. They are all doing very good!
That took up most of my day so it was a quick vacuum through the house, sort and start the laundry and then get ready for my evening out with my K & S. We had no agenda and it turned out awesome. Power shopping is the best. I got my first pair of VO Jeans and love them!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! We shopped, ate shopped and came back to my house to watch "New Moon" which I also LOVE! Thanks girls for the great night!
My jeans, NOT my BUTT! Aren't they so cute? ;)

Runner Kristina Pinto's Hell Week at Runner's World

Runner Kristina Pinto's Hell Week at Runner's World

This is my Nightmare! I often wonder what would happen to my family and my mental well being. This explains it very well and I see myself. That's a little scary. I did have a good laugh! :)

GOLD

Aspen's Dance Team got GOLD today!
Aspen had her 1st competition this year at the "Artist Emerge" in Edmonton. They were more than "Cool Kids". They performed amazing and received a GOLD! Last year at the same competition they got a silver. This group of girls have been together for 3 years and do so well together.
This morning started out very early 5:30am, we had to be at the Jubilee for 7 sharp. We had makeup and hair to do on 9 team members and the pop in' and lockin' in the dressing room was getting the girls pumped up. Aspen as an individual, in her moms eyes, did great. She is really starting to learn how to control her body(arms) and work with her smile and facial expressions. Way to go Aspen, and the rest of your team, I am so proud of you.
1 down 4 more to go. :)

my girl

As A lays in my bed sick I have an uneasy feeling. I really can't do anything for her but watch and wait for the fever to break. A has been sick since Sunday night. For her this is huge. She hasn't been out of bed, on her Ipod or on the computer for 2 days straight. This is not my energetic 12 year old, she wakes up in the morning bouncing and goes to bed still bouncing. When I go up and check on her I think WOW!, when she wakes up she is going to be a foot taller. They do say that children grow when they sleep, and if this is any indication she will for sure be as tall as Tod by the end of the week. I hope she will feel better SOON.

On the plus side I am getting to work on the School Year Book. This is such a huge task. I do enjoy it but wish that the people that do the grumbling about it would have to put in the time to get it completed and then they would have more appreciation. That's why I do it for the kids. :)

goals

Avery got another Goal last night ! With the grin on her face, it was almost like giving her a hundred $'s. She smiled nonstop for the rest of the game. Tod was late getting to the game so he missed it. It was a great goal! With that goal bringing us up 2-1, we finished strong 5-1. We have another game on Sunday EARLY morning, to finish this round. Hope all the kids have their game faces on and eat lots of chocolate to give them the wake up that they are going to need. (Coach Tod needs to hand out an incentive treat, before they get on the ice) I will have to bring this to his attention, it may help! GOOD LUCK!! THUNDER!!

Girlfriends

These are the 3 women, mothers, friends in my life everyday. They know how I "tick" as a mom and a friend. They are very important to me, without having my family close bye, they help me walk away from the cliff or they are holding my hand and helping jump. Just knowing that they are always their for me puts a flutter in my heart and a grin on my face. Thanks for all you do for me.
To my 3 women, mothers, friends that aren't so close. . .I Miss you Dearly. Mom, TTH & GP XOXOXO

Avery's sleep-over

AA had her best friend sleep over last night, for the first time. They were so cute. When they got home from Hockey, there was talk of play, play, play. When the house went quite by 9:30 T & I were shocked. I went to check on the girls and there they were in bed reading books to each other it was very cute. I crawled in with them read them a book and tucked them in with breakfast orders of pancakes and ice cream if A made it through the whole night. It was a good sleep until the little mice started to stir at 6am, on a sleep in day of all things! Little Monkeys! They were very quite, until 7:30 when they came hopping into wake me up for breakfast. they were starving and really wouldn't you be if you new you were having ice cream? So it was to the kitchen. They were very giggly, and excited! Breakfast was a success then it was trying to figure out what to do with the rest of the morning: Polly's, Littlest Pet Shop, Crafts, Dolls, Outside, and WOW! it's time for lunch. On order was Milkshakes and Pizza. So I delivered. I asked the girls "What do you think you will eat for supper tonight?" both giggled with a reply of "Ice cream". Chances are, they are right, it will include ice cream.

I am so glad the 2 of you have so much FUN together.
