shopping

We took the 2 oldest kids to WEM for some shopping and I found jeans. Me`, the girl who HATES trying on jeans and will really buy 20 shirts to every 1 pair of jeans I try on. But no, today I bought jeans and they are so CUTE on ME! I even went to Hollister and tried my luck with jeans, well the size 9 fit but not to flattering and then the 11`s I could pull on & off without undoing them. I am so not caring that I don`t have ``trendy`` jeans, Aeropostale will do just fine and half the price or less and to me they are just as trendy. WOW! I truly have not been this excited about jeans in years. YIPEEE!!! ;0`

inspire

I got a compliment on Monday at work. A mom told me that I inspired her to get back on her elliptical. That is cool! So if I inspire just one friend by posting my runs and bike rides on my facebook, that is more than I though I would do. So D you give it your all and it will come.
If you ever need a kick in the butt I will do it anytime.

weight

"Weight" it is the debate in our house. I was so excited yesterday about the scale, so I asked T what he thought my weight was, he was very close only off by 1. So he reciprocated and asked me how much I thought he weighed? Well I was over by 7-8 and know he won't let me live it down. I am sure the Estrogen has taken over the testosterone, 'cuz wow it gets brought up in lots of conversations even when it is not the topic, he makes it fit. I promise not to guess anymore!
love ya M

post Christmas

Well we had a great Christmas break and lots of family time. I had so many things that I would have loved to get done in the house and it didn't get accomplished. Avery has hit the stage of being 7 and needing to be entertained every waking moment of her day. So that is what I did. (yes often I would tell her that she can do things without me, but that seemed to last for 15 Min's tops) Tod and I took one parent day before we went back to the regular schedule of life and left O & AK in charge of AA. (still need to pay them, good thing they eat, sleep and get their clothes watched for free, maybe they will forget I owe them money) We left specific instructions that there would be no watching the TV all day, and each of them would take an hour at a time. Coloring, playing outside, Wii, games, that is just a few of the things that they had to choose from. We walked out with a reminder that if we got any fighting phone calls they would lose $5 every call made (no fighting calls were reported).

T & me alone in the city, what trouble could we find? I was on the hunt for the perfect runner, my gift from T for Christmas, T was there for support. We went to the Running Room, a store I have been dodging for over a year, because the prices were so high, I need to find out what kind of runner I was: neutral, pronator, etc . . . Well as it turned out I am Neutral and well the shoes I found a "Fluffy Clouds" on my feet. I did try on another pair but they were nothing compared to the first pair. I couldn't explain to T the comfort, until we went to the Nike store and i made him try on a pair of the exact same shoe. He also calls them "Fluffy Clouds" and thanks me every run he takes for making him by them. (anything I can do to support him)
These are my shoes and I can't even explain the comfort, plus they have pink on them soooo me. T got the solid black.

So now that T has the "Fluffy Cloud" shoes and is set up for the Nike+ Fit (which I also got for Christmas) he went out to get himself one. It is a little motivator. We have little Mini's that let us know if we are being couch potatoes and it logs all our runs, calories and we can even challenge each other and join other challenges. It is really neat to know what you are doing as in distance, speed, calories, time and to push yourself so that when it is calibrated you can look back to see your progression. I love it! Know all I have to wait for is the weather to get nice so i can get on the road, the treadmill is so restricting and I have a problem with staying in the middle. I am a bit of a wobbler. ;)

My sister is in a challenge and I want to support her all the way. Tonya you know that you can do this, if you ever need a kick in the butt I will give it to you and lift you up, especially after the 3 week mark. Get those runners moving!

Happy 2010!
