I am here

I made it to North Carolina. With only a few bumps along the way.
In Edmonton my flight was delayed due to the thunderstorm overhead. It was going to be a tough go at keeping my connecting flight from Minneapolis/st.Paul. We landed in Minneapolis at 6:12 and my boarding for Charlotte was starting at 6:20. I didn't have my gate #, I got off the plane and asked at the desk. With my luck it was the same gate I had just gotten off of. Bless their heart. I sat down for only 12 min's, I still have not eaten at this point, and didn't have time to walk around the airport for food.
I boarded the plane and we were on our way to North Carolina. We were 15 min's from landing when we had to go fly in circles beside N.C. due to thunder storms,I arrived in Charlotte at 11:11pm. I was a little lost and confused, my flight was not on the board to pick up my luggage. With a half hour gone, and nobody at the Northwest terminal to claim luggage it was getting late. Finally I claimed my luggage that had not left Edmonton.
It is know Friday and I still have no luggage. They do say that it is on it's way and I am hoping that it will be here soon.
My luggage is here! :)
Tonya and Bert's house is awesome, not much fun to clean, but fantastic!! I love to listen to the clock chime. I forgot about the red red red dirt. YUCK it gets on everything. I have alot to help Tonya do and that's what I intend to do, help her get organized. Ya gotta love family. :0 I can't wait for my pay back, only 8 years 'till I am 40 and then she can come and help me :0

4 days till. . .

YAY!! We have 4 days left of school :)
Well our June is winding up and with all the last thank-yous, party's, and field trips at school we are keeping our days and evenings occupied.
Oakly is playing soccer playoffs for a spot at the provincials. (in Red Deer) We should find out on Wednesday if they are in. He is still playing 3 on 3 Hockey until the middle of July.
Aspen was camping this weekend with a friend in Edson. They stayed in a tent and wasn't very impressed with the blow up mattress, that's what camping is all about. She did have a blast and will go again if asked. Her and Ciera are a great team together, they play along so well and like a lot of the same things.
Avery is gearing up for 2 more kindergarten days and really ready to be done. I have her and Aspen in a Dance Camp in July, and Cheer-leading Camp in August so she is looking forward to that.
Well we have down sized our animal population. Two kittens are gone and we are lonely. The last kitten is looking for sombody to play with, it makes me sad. We enjoyed having the kittens around, but now it will be alot easier to keep the litter box clean. The last kitten will be gone on Tuesday, then we will be back to our 1 dog and 2 cats, it will still be a full house.
Yesterday Tod and I got alot of yard work done and a great start to the summer tan. It was great to work in the yard and get the work done so we can just have the up-keep to do during the summer.

8 days of school!! :)

We are on the count down for summer. The kids and I have 8 days of school/work and we are ready to hit the sun, sleeping in and hanging out. :0) The summer plans are quickly filling up and it is looking to be a very active 2 months. I am sure they will roll by way to fast. Oakly will start soccer play offs next week to determine if they go to provincials the first week of July, in Red Deer.
We have time booked off to go camping for July 1st will be fun, fun, fun. The week of July 13th we are going to venture to the Okanogan (BC) for some sun and fresh orchard fruit YUMMY!! We plan on brushing up on our water skills with some water skiing, tubing, and whatever else we can find to tryout.
Next Monday we are losing our 3 additions to our family. It is time to give the baby kitty's to their new homes we are going to really miss them. We won't however miss the litter box clean up every other night. With 5 cats in the house it can get awfully full very fast. I will post one last picture of them on Monday to say goodbye. The kids are going to miss them. Every morning they will great us in the kitchen with their little meows and rub up against our legs for loves. After school they will run up the stairs and play on the gym bags and in the shoes. Rollo, Lucky and Router are so a part of our family.
Happy week to everybody.

The weekend to miss. . .

What a crazy weekend!
Tod and I were down in Lethbridge for Wayne's surprise 40th party. Oakly was at Jessie's, and the girls were at Shawna's. We all had fun at our various locations.
Oakly went out to dinner and a movie for his birthday. What a lucky boy! :)
The girls went out for a birthday movie with Pacey (Shawna's son) on Friday night so we were all very busy and entertained.
Tod and I spent time with Wayne and Gail. It was a quiet weekend for us with no kids (our own), but we got to get to know Rylee and Kaden better which was great. Gail and I had a good time, I really miss you. :) Tod and Wayne started to put together the massive jungle gym for the kids, just like old times.
I did however miss my MS Bike Tour this weekend and thought about the team all the time. I have been told that this was the year to miss. The wind was great on the way their. The way home was awful it took some up too 7 hours. I really did miss the group.
This week Tod and Oakly are gone to camp Warwa for Oakly's Grade 6 trip. I hope they are having fun!!
It is just the girls and me. We are going to do some bonding. Tonight already they rode their bikes and I ran. When we had to clean we rode to the post office and then went for a bike ride and snack after. All about mom and the girls. :)

June is here. . .

Ya! June is here. . .
We have 19 days left of school.
Oakly and Tod have birthdays coming up and I can't believe Oakly is going to be 12. He is growing up so much and next year he will be in the "Big School" as Avery would say. I am not so sure I am ready for him to enter the next stage of school or life. YIKES :) This month for school Oakly's grade 6 class is going to Camp Warwa, Tod is going as a chaperon. They leave on Monday 9th and return home on the 12th.
Tod and I are leaving on Friday to go down to Lethbridge for a 40th birthday party. The kids are all set for the weekend at friends houses. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and maybe we can go golfing together. What ever the weather we will have fun on our parents only weekend!!
We have been down sizing our car lot and on the prowl for another trip to the states for yet another vehicle. Tod needs a small commuter car preferably diesel or a cute little sports car. We sold the brown truck and got a "pimped out" diesel truck. We sold the red car, and the minivan and blue car are on the chopping block. I don't think it will take us long to sell the van or car. ;)
Be prepared for house guests family, we may be on another road trip sooner than later.
I am sure our June will get busier as we get in to the swing of things. We are all ready for the summer.
